Austrian self-help organization for pulmonary hypertension

Pulmonary arterial hypertension is a rare disease which in the past has been paid little attention in Austria. The recently founded Austrian Association for Pulmonary Hypertension is creating public awareness in the public and amongst doctors to increase the general awareness about this disease.

Deutsche Schmerzhilfe

Die Deutsche Schmerzhilfe e.V. (DSH), gegründet 1978, ist ein anerkannt gemeinnütziger Verein. Der Bundesverband mit Sitz in Hamburg ist der Zusammenschluß der verschiedenen Regional- bzw. Landesverbände.
Die DSH versteht sich als Interessenvertreter aller Schmerzpatienten und wird von derzeit mehr als 5.000 Mitgliedern getragen.
Sie ist damit der größte Verband dieser Art in Kontinental-Europa.
